Rough Design Stage !
This is where concepts start. Take the Gnarlywood and see if it will survive to the final stages of an actual product piece. If it won't meet the 10 stage REHAB criteria...
"Burn Pile !" (we haven't lost one yet.)
In normal design processes, things are done on the drawing board or computer with known established dimensional lumber or materials. That isn't ever the case here. Nothing is dimensional, straight or normal. Nothing can be repeated, and all pieces are "One-Off" pieces. The Oak Maple Nightmare was drawn on paper, but honestly didn't come out looking like the final project, so it seemed nonsensical.
What is done here is the pieces are basically stared at until an idea hits. Sometimes nothing hits, and we move on to the next chunk of wood/metal, and come back to it later, or never.
So here we will show some pieces in the rough and maybe they will eventually make it to the
"projects and for sale "sections.
Maybe something we have here can be made to your desires, but we generally don't do projects to a sellers specs. We throw out our concept and see if it will interest you, the end user. Then we talk.
Enjoy!
This section is under construction....no really!

The end of September 2012 is today. I have 2 more done in rough form. These will eventually end up on the site in the "for sale" section, but there is much to do before they graduate Re-Hab.
New for October is this one.
